ABOUT JESS
Dr. Jess is committed to providing effective quality care for the whole body. She utilizes a variety of techniques and styles to promote a stable and functional body through all phases of healing. She believes each patient should be evaluated on an individual basis and personalizes treatment to accommodate distinct needs. Dr. Jessica strives to educate and empower each individual to take an active role in their care.
As a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®), Dr Jessica is rendered proficient in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries having enhanced her diagnostic and treatment skills with postgraduate coursework. A lifelong learner, Dr. Jessica has continued to broadened her knowledge and skill set with advanced education in techniques such as Webster, Craniosacral Therapy, Barral Visceral Manipulation, Activator, Graston Instrumented Assisted, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, McKenzie Method®, Functional Range Conditioning®, Integrated Kinetic Neurology® and other movement-based systems. As such, Dr. Jessica has a passion for and is excited to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds – from athletes to pregnant folks, elders to children.
Dr. Jessica received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Portland’s own University of Western States. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology – Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota. Before bringing her Midwestern roots to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Jessica spent a handful of years living abroad teaching scuba diving and working as an underwater videographer. In her free time, you can find Dr. Jessica chasing wind, practicing yoga or exploring the backwoods. She teaches Hatha/Vinyasa yoga and enjoys travel, reading and records.
